I just had a fun idea for a project.  I am thinking of calling it Liquid Paper Theatre.  Basically, I take a scanned in short story from on of the magazines, replace all of the dialogue and re-present it.  Because, yeah, I have that kind of free time....If I give up sleeping or working.

Two more 3D FMOF covers from my guy at the Mego Museum board.  Enjoy.

The Live Vampirella Models

Webpage of MANY Live Vampirella Models

This guy has collected many, many more photos and stories of the live Vampirella models from over the years and any effort I made to try and duplicate this effort would be downright silly.  Tons of pictures of beautiful women in Vampirella costumes.  What's not to like about that?

3D Famous Monsters of Filmland #61

A guy I kinda know from another board has done a great 3D picture of the Famous Monsters of Filmland cover #61.

The trailer for the Vampirella movie.  Yes it was as horrible as you have probably heard.  Yes I have it on DVD.

Official Vampirella Movie Trailer

I was a Horror Kid from the 1970's.  You know the type.  Frankenstein poster on the wall.  Dracula comic book in his school desk.  My family didn't go to Disney movies at the theater.  We saw Hammer Horror movies at the Drive In on $5 carload night.  We would load all 6,7, or 8 kids depending on what year in the station wagon with 2 buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken and 6 of the huge glass 32 ounce bottles of Coca Cola all hidden on the floorboards with blankets.  We we would get there long before sundown and play on the playground near the giant screens to get out all of our energy before the show started.

Then in the spring of 1978, I discovered Vampirella.

Issue 69 to be specific.  Wow.  I never knew Horror could feel like that.  Or LOOK like that!  Then later I would add Eerie and Creepy and even the Famous Monsters magazines to my collection.  But Vampirella, she was always my true love.
